Supper Club New Host Signup

     
    Important Dates :
    • Kick-off  Dinner:    January 14, 6:00 PM, Northstar Church, 3929 Prices Fork Road
    • Meals in home suggested dates: February 17, March 17, April 14
    Host orientation is required for new hosts. We will contact you by email after you register and arrange a time to meet.

    New Hosts - please complete the registration below.  This info helps us to match you with internationals.

    Supper Club Expectations
        1. One member from each NEW host household must attend orientation
        2. All new clubs (hosts and guests) must attend Kick-off dinner.
        3. By agreeing to host a supper club, hosts are agreeing to host guests about once a month
        4. Communication  between host and guests is required before each meal
        5. Communication with International Students, Inc. is required after each meal
        6. Hosts living in areas that are not near Blacksburg Transit routes may need to provide rides

    I have read and agree with the requirements above.


    Information in this section will be used for contacting you, for name tags at Kickoff, and may be supplied to your international guests.

    We love to share your photos and videos on social media.  Do you consent to let photos or videos taken at this event be used by International Students, Inc.?
    Information below will only be used for matching with your international guests
    Maximum number of internationals you are willing to host: 2 (minimum), 3 or 4 (normal maximum). Please indicate a range as "2 to 4".
    Minimum is two so the guests can feel more comfortable, maximum is normally four adults/children (infants not included) so you can interact better..
    Are there any preferences you have for the type of internationals?  Student/scholar, singles, family, nationality...
    We cannot make any guarantees, but this may help in matching students to your home.
    Are there any languages other than English that you speak?  Have you lived or traveled extensively in another country?
    Describe any indoor pets that might be in contact with students.
    Please list any dietary restrictions you or your family may have.

    If needed, are you willing to help transport your students either to or from you home?
    What partnering church do you regularly attend?
    ISI will be sharing your host group participation with church leadership. If host group participants go to different churches please indicate.
