Enjoy a great three day, two night retreat for internationals in the mountains of wild and wonderful West Virginia just over an hour from Blacksburg. This unique Christian event will feature preaching and teaching from the Bible, great meals provided by the Pipestem Dining Service, lodging in a beautiful conference center on the Bluestone River and a variety of outdoor recreation activities including hiking, disc golf, paddle boats, swimming and optional horseback riding. There will also be a hayride with hot dog picnic. The staff Naturalist at Pipestem will lead an exploratory hike for those interested in learning more about the plants and wildlife at the park. Access to your rooms and the conference center is only by aerial tram carrying you down the Bluestone gorge. The Bluestone River is a lovely stream suitable for wading, splashing and just sitting and skipping stones. The meeting sessions for the conference will be centered around the theme of "Climbing Upward" in your spiritual pilgrimage.
